Enjoy the healing benefits of light and color with Chromotherapy in our Sunlighten™ sauna.

Chromotherapy is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms. Chromotherapy works on various energy points to help balance your body via the full spectrum of visible light, each color of which addresses a distinct need.

HOW IT WORKS

Hydrate! Drink at least 8oz of water & don't forget to visit the restroom before your visit.

Undress and put on your towel wrap. There is also another towel available for you to use.

Select the chromotherapy of your choice, or turn all the lights off. Choose your music. Enter the sauna, sit back & relax.

If it gets too hot, simply open the door or step out of the sauna for a few minutes.

When the session is over, rest for a few minutes in the sauna, then step out and wipe down with the cool towel provided.

Remember to shut the sauna door when you get out so that it stays hot.

Continue to hydrate throughout the rest of the day.

PURIFYING TREATMENTS

AGE DEFYING - 30 Minutes | Far/Near

Infrared saunas help restore skin to a youthful appearance, and the skin on your entire body – from face to feet – will benefit from a sauna therapy session.

The near infrared wavelengths are the most effective wavelengths for healing the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. Near infrared treatments stimulate collagen production to reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin tone. RELAXATION - 40 Minutes | Far/Mid/Near

Unlike traditional saunas which operate at extremely harsh temperatures, infrared is a gentle, soothing and therapeutic heat that promotes relaxation and improved sleep. Infrared sauna benefits include therapy that helps you relax while receiving an invigorating deep-tissue sweat, leaving you fully refreshed after each session.

In this session, far, mid and near infrared rays induce deep relaxation as they relieve muscle tension at a low, comfortable intensity promoting overall stress reduction with regular use. 

DETOXIFICATION - 40 Minutes | Far/Near

Sweating is good for you. It is the body’s safe and natural way to heal and stay healthy. Infrared sauna detoxification happens by heating the body directly, causing a rise in core temperature. This results in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside.

This session starts at a high intensity to increase the body’s core temperature, then reduces to a low, comfortable intensity level. IR combination improves vascular access flow to reach toxins at the cellular level. 

CARDIO - 40 Minutes | Far/Mid/NeaR

Sunlighten saunas are backed by clinical research that shows a reduction in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Both are key factors in maintaining a healthy heart.

Infrared saunas induce a deep sweat to make the heart pump faster, which in turn increases blood flow, lowers blood pressure and helps circulation. Scientific evidence shows the infrared sauna benefits using an infrared sauna a couple times a week lowers blood pressure.

This session starts at a high intensity to increase heart rate and cardiac output then lowers to sustain heart rate level. Circulation increases to promote healthy blood pressure.

FAQs

Most people do not drink enough water to begin with and now that you are using an infrared sauna and sweating, it is even more important to stay properly hydrated. Always drink plenty of water before, during and after your sweat session. We recommend drinking at least 8oz of water before your session.

Please arrive 10 minutes early and take a few minutes to wind down in our waiting room before your session begins, drink some water, and speak with our staff in preparation for your session.

We provide you with two towels – one to sit on and one to wrap yourself in. We ask that you always lay one towel on the bench. Naked is best as more skin exposure is preferable, but swimsuits are ok as well! We recommend bringing clothing that are loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session.

A refreshing, cool towel is provided for you, and will be all you need to wipe down after your session!

It's easy. Simply open the door for a minute to let some fresh air inside or pop out and relax outside the sauna for a few minutes.

Infrared saunas heat you very gently and slowly, making it a very peaceful experience for most people. You may find that you do not sweat for the first 10-15 minutes, or not very much at all your first time. With increased usage you will likely notice an increased ability to sweat more productively. After sweating you will feel great. You may notice glowing skin, diminished wrinkles, muscle and injury relief as well as a sense of relaxation.

People who should not sweat are pregnant women, those with pacemakers and, although rare, those who have an inability to sweat. If you are on any medication or have any medical conditions, please consult with your doctor before beginning any sauna treatments.

Yes. By increasing your heart rate and core body temperature by 3 degrees in your session, it could take up to an hour to return to normal. We encourage you to stay active before or after your session if you want to maximize the calorie burn.

We take cleanliness very seriously and ensure that each suite is fully cleaned in between sessions with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Additionally, infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating an inherently sterile environment.
